Internet Explorer URL Bar

Hi All,

I recently installed Mozilla Firefox on my computer as a alternative to Microsoft Internet Explorer. Firefox and explorer worked fine together for a while but now Internet Explorer has lost its URL Bar so i now have to enter everything that I want to look at through Google. Does anyone know how to retrieve the URL bar? I have tried doing View>Toolbars>Adress Bars but this simply brings up a box on the same line as all the 'Home, Back e.t.c' which says adress in a small box.
