Hi all,

I use aol as my ISP but also use IE as my browser. In the last week I have lost IE all that happens is that when I click on the IE icon the connection page comes up. The word 'connecting' appears and the sign that it is loading is shown but nothing happens no matter how long I wait.

Anyone any ideas please

If you remember the day it happened use system restore to go back before you had the problem. If you have IE7 you can use the Reset feature to go back to factory settings.
 
You can ignore that comment about Firefox obviously it's some kid who doesn't know better. While Firefox has more extenstions then IE does it's not safer by any means nor is a faster/better browser. And if your not into using extensions then there is no reason to switch other then just to use something differnt. Firefox is on the map enough that the hackers are writing just as many explotes for it as they are IE7.
 
Well I personally have had fewer problems with Firefox than IE, so I would recommend Firefox.

No need to be rude Lawson, Firefox is gaining popularity for a reason. Sure it's common enough so that less hacker problems isn't such a big deal, but it many people find it faster and less problematic.
