Internet Explorer?

How do i uninstall it from my computer? I never use it. I use firefox. Is there anyway to get IE off my computer completely? Will this mess up anything on my computer?

use the add/remove programs on the control panel, I dont have IE installed and I use firefox, and its ok.

Only reason i have IE Installed is as i use a proxy, all programs such as MSN Messenger, Outlook Express etc.. Rely on IE for proxy setting..

So i cant Un-Install it as much as i hate it.

IE is not listed in the add/remove programs list. If it makes a difference i have vista.

You can't actually uninstall IE (I dont see why you really need to anyways). But you can remove all the shortcuts and extensions by going to the add/remove programs option in Vista, and then select "add/remove system components".

the reason i want to get rid of it is because i dont like things on my computer that i dont use. i dont like stuff wasting space.is that bad?

It won't be using a great deal of space anyway.

Don't worry about un-installing it.
