Hi,
I'm thinking about letting an XP computer onto the internet. Children will be using it and it will be monitored and supervised but I really want to put some internet filtering software on it, just to be safe. It only takes a few seconds of distraction for them to pull something very very bad up. Is there any good free internet filtering options/software out there. maybe one that also monitors and tracks usage?
What I would really like is a way to white list domains. Say only a *disney.com or pixar.com or something like that. I would feel safest with this way. Any thoughts or recommendations from experience? As far as paid options, it appears that Net Nanny is the best but is it worth the money and does it allow white listing? Maybe there's another options that I'm not familiar with such as a setting in IE or XP firewall that does this?
Thanks in advance!
