Internet keeps disconnecting

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could help. My laptop keeps disconnecting from the internet and everytime it does this I have to restart my computer. It was fine for ages but then the whole network went down and since it got fixed I've had this problem. Other people in the house don't seem to be experiencing this either.

Sometimes I get the message of an IP conflict on the system and wondered if this could be anything to do with it.

Hi, I thought I'd give this a bump to see if anyone can help.

I think the problem is with communication between my wireless laptop and the modem/router. Does anyone know any basic tests I can do to check why the disconnections keep happening?
