Internet / Network Problems (Head Scratcher)

Hello All and welcome to another thread of my troubles! I posted a previous one with hardware problems and was able to get that to work with the help of a couple guys and now I have another problem that I have never ran into before and it's rather unusual. Here it is:

Network Doesn't Work
Unable to view other computers on my network (Other computers can see this one)
-Error: Home is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions. The list of servers for this workgroup is not currently available.
Windows Updates Unable to Update
Unable to connect to times.windows.com
-Unable to connect to windows anything really. (Including Windows Live OneCare)
Unable to activate my windows because it cannot establish an "internet connection"
-Although my internet is working

If there are any suggestions out there I would really appreciate it. I think I have exhausted my brain trying to fix this network problem so I can transfer files to another computer to reformat this one.

I cannot connect to AIM either.

Nevermind the update.

"Active Windows" seems to tell me that you recently reinstalled/reformatted your OS/HDD...

Thus telling me you most likely do not have your network drivers installed.
