Internet Problem

Hi guys I am having this problem with my wireless internet. I am trying to access it using the Windows Wireless Network connection but for some reason it doesn't work. My security on the router is WPA Personal.

That's the problem. I can't enter the code for WPA. I can only do WEP. Which is not the case for me so is there a way for me to enter the WPA key?
 
click the wireless connection on your taskbar,
click properties, on the wireless network tab click the
connection you are trying to open and click properties and
you should be able to enter it now.
be sure to look for the " key is provided for me " checkbox
and uncheck it.

on that same tab you should see network authentication change this from open to WPA
WEP is a data encryption option

Then that probably means your card or whatever your using doesn't support WPA or doesn't have the right drivers installed if it is. Also, did it not have a wireless tool, thus that's why you are using the Windows tool?
 
Yes I do have SP2. My drivers for my wireless card are 4 years old. I tried to see if there was any updates but there wasn't any.

Is there any other help you guys can give me?

Btw I changed it to WPA personal. Before it used to be wep 128 bit and it would work fine. I am now thinking it is my wireless card but I am not sure so is there any other alternatives?

change it back to WEP you said it worked then try it again and if it doesnt it would lead more then to the card also everytime before you reconnect do you refresh networks i know that has screwed me up a few times
