I am new to this forum and thought maybe somebody here could assist me.
I bought a Dell XPS Desktop computer last year which cost me an extorshinate £1200.
Its a great PC but as i live in Kilmaurs, in Ayrshire (Scotland) the internet connection is rubbish.
I am with TalkTalk and i have a Netgear Router which i got with AOL a few years ago, i have no idea what model the Netgear is.
Anyway I keep getting cut off and i dont know if its because of the computer or the router. I was considering buying a new router at some point and was wondering whats the best one on the market especially when i have a budget of £200, anything about £100-£150 would be ideal.
I am also considering changing my Internet Provider, baring in mind that i stay in Kilmaurs,East-Ayrshire, Scotland. What would be the best internet provider that you would suggest?

Id go for either Linksys or Netgear and are you using your router as a modem or do you actually use the wireless?
