Internet problems

My internet on my computer says limited or no connection i have a Compaq laptop and i tried resetting the linksys and restarting the computer i have windows xp it even works on other computers jsut not that one!!...NEED HELP

Anyways, how are you trying to connect your laptop to the internet... Wirelessly or with an Ethernet Cable?
