Hi, i done a download speed test and the results were

1902kbps download and 245kbps upload

What download speed can i expect with this? and what speed internet connection do i have?

Lloyd

If you did the speed test with a reliable local server, I would say you have a 2 Meg connection - meaning it takes about 4 seconds to download 1 megabyte (MB) of data. You should know what you're paying for, because if you're getting less than your speed, you are entitled to compensation through loss of service.

I'm not sure what more information you could want.

ok.. so why im i only getting around 40kbps using utorrent? I have port forwarded, unblocked firewall, open more tcp connections, capped my upload speeds... I don't know what else to do!!!

Bit torrent clients rely on other people with a certain file uploading it for your benefit. You cannot expect to fill your bandwidth if there aren't enough people sharing a particular file to do that. 40kbps is an average download speed, I wouldn't be disappointed with that. By the way, I wouldn't turn off your firewall, that's not a good idea.

Incidentally, generalised questions about Bit torrent technology are fine, but just a precautionary warning, talk related to illegally downloading copyrighted material is against the forum rules. Prevention is better than cure.
