internet speed-up software?

Does anyone know of any good internet accelerator programmes because i have a really slow connection and it takes me ages to download anything?

If you have dial up dont wast your time, if you have highspeed internet the only thing that will effect your speed is your mtu and wrin settings that you can change for free, stay away from those kind of programs they wont help you!

i used to have one with msn dial-up, all it does is compress the photos, videos, and text, doesnt help with downloading. And on the highest setting, it just doesnt load audio or video.

so it really doesnt do much.
