Hello, I'm a student at Cuyahoga Falls High and I have to interview a woman in the fields of Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or Science for my computer programming class. The person I'm interviewing must have at least a bachelor’s degree in her field, and must have worked in industry in a position relating to her field. They must answer the following questions for their interview.
1. How do you use computer technology in your career?
2. Who encouraged you the most to pursue your career field, and how?
3. Did anyone attempt to deter you from pursuing your career, field and how?
4. Did you encounter any gender-related obstacles while attaining your education?
5. Do you feel that your ability to succeed in your profession has been or will be affected by your gender?
6. What advice would you give to a young lady interested in pressing a career in your field?
7. What advice about treating women in your profession would you give to a young gentleman interested in pursuing a career in your field?
I would really appreciate any input you could give me. Thank you.
