Iomega External SuperDVD driver

Hi all. Anyone know where I can get just the .inf file?
My HDD just died and my internal DVD is apparently dead.
Win 7 SP1 starts to install then asks for a driver for a DVD drive.
I do not want any kind of "driver manager" or other frippery.

You shouldn't need any kind of DVD Driver. Windows should have all that already.

How exactly are you installing Windows?

Trying to install it via a fresh HDD via the external DVD.

I-5 3470
8Mb RAM
Win 7 Home Premium SP1

8MB of RAM? That may be an issue

Anyway, try ripping an ISO of your Windows 7 disk with ImgBurn and then use the Windows CD/USB DVD or Yumi Multiboot tool to make a bootable flashdrive instead.

NVM, my old DVD can't apparently be recognized by a USB 3.0 port, working now on a 2.0.
