For some reason i am getting the IP address conflict message.

Heres what is says.

Windows - System Error
There is an IP address conflict with another system on the network.

I use DSL. Modem is Westell Wirespeed and D-link DI-524 wireless router.

anybody got any idea what may be causing this problem?

thanks

A computer on your wireless network has the same IP address as the one your assigning to your computer. Try to setup DHCP on your router. Someone else may be using your router without you knowledge or you using the same ip as your router.

Thanks Camper. It seems like that 2 other computer were connected to my interest without me knowing it. It show up on the log when i went to the status page of my router.

Anyway I just enabled my encryption, was to lazy to do it before.:D

Assigned different ip of my computers and it is working fine now.

If only I know how i will put something nasty on these peoples pc for using my connection.

Well the rules at CF limiting discussion of "hacking" i can't really go into detail but DOS attacks are your friend.
