Hi there my firewall keeps stoping and incoming "attack" and I am trying to figure out if there is a way to see where the IP address that it keeps showing me is coming from. does anyone know how to do this? I found a site called ARIN but what the report said is all latin to me can someone tell me how to figure all this out, or tell me a more user friendly site??

what is trying to make a remote connection to your system? Is it a website?

ARIN.net is a database of what companies own what IP addresses, so once you obtain the IP address you can trace it back to whoever owns that block of IPs.

ok, a little more specifics on the situation, I have Sunbelt Kerio firewall and last night at about 1130 or so I got 2 "high NIPS" now I am not a genius when it comes to computers so that made me look at the log for the "attack" and it shows the time and IP address, I was just trying to look it up and see where it came from.
