Thats right, not sure how many of you have heard about it but I didnt see a post on it yet but the iPhone 3Gs is being released tomarrow, Wednesday June 17th.

The iPhone 3G now starts at 100, the new iPhone 3Gs starts at 200

A few quick updates:
2x faster then original 3G
3MP camera with up to 30fps video as well
send and receive text, picture and video messages
now comes in 32GB as well as the 16 (don't believe they have an 8 from what Ive seen)
now has Cut, Copy and Paste
landscape keyboard mode for everything (notes, texts, internet ect...)
advanced voice recognition system (Voice Control)
Search (which lets you search for ANYTHING on the iPhone from one spot)

Those are just a few of the better specs ive picked out for you quick browsers, for you heavy readers, enjoy:) : http://www.apple.com/iphone/

Personally, I WANT ONE!! :P They have fixed most problems I ever had to complain about.

Discuss away!:)

OMGWTF?! It's tomorrow? Holy crap... I got June mixed up with July.... :(

Dangarts, I just emptied my wallet on a minibike :(

What I don't like is that most of the stuff that will be new on the iPhone 3Gs, like the unlocked video capture, MMS, copy/paste, landscape keyboard in every application, and some others, those were all unlocked with a firmware update on the G1.

Easy, apple wants money.

And all can be done on the 3G if you jailbreak it.

I know, I'm aware of that, but not everyone should have to jailbreak it to unlock the stuff. The average user won't/can't, but on the G1, all you have to do is make sure you're up to date and there it is.

I'm also not trying to compare phones, I'm just throwing my opinion in.

I was just reading through the new features on apple.com, and that's exactly the first thing that crossed my mind. Pretty much every new feature is something that came standard on the G1.

Don't get me wrong, the iPhone is a great phone, but the G1 is phenomenal.
