Iphone Battery - Help

Hello.

I brought a iPhone Original (1st Gen) Off my friend for £40 and the battery runs out really fast. I was wondering if anyone here knows of a place i can get it fitted or replaced at a reasonable price?

Yeah the iPhone is jailbroken. Also the power/lock button is stuck in. Know of any app that disables the use of this button? I don't really need it as I wont be turning it off and it auto-locks after a minute anyway. Greatly appreciated. Thanks.
