Whenever my son's iPod is plugged in the PC, and I need to restart the PC, the mouse is frozen. Like tonight, had a software update that required restarting the PC to take effect. I forgot about the iPod, and then had to "Remove hardware" and restart the PC with the keyboard, which is no fun in Windows. I'm running WinXP SP2, the mouse is a PS2, and the iPod connects on a USB port.
I suspect that the mouse and iPod have some sort of conflict, IRQs, or memory address or something.
Anyway, how do I check that and fix it?
TIA!
