To keep the most quality, your best bet would be find a new head unit that allows for aux. inputs... Otherwise, there's not really any way besides an FM transmitter(or one of those tape convertres if you have a tape player)

I know this is old school, but I just bought a tape adapter designed for a portable CD player (if your car has a tape deck), and it works great! Otherwise, the iTrip should work fine, too; a friend has one that seems to work really well for him...
No my car has no tape deck :| only cd player and and sat radio, plus the itrip thing that i have doesnt fit into the 60GB video i pod that i use. it only fits the mini's. so idk
I have one of these, monster FM transmitter. A little more expensive then like the itrip, but it recharges your ipod as well, and it charges it fast. Sound quality is great, especially for a FM transmitter, you just have to make sure you find a clear channel, its easy since you can set it to any station, unlike most.
