is there anything that allows an ipod to be connected to the car stereo so you can listen to it? i tried searching but couldnt find anything

ive tried the iTrip stuff with mini's but it looses sound quality, ill look over the other thing

To keep the most quality, your best bet would be find a new head unit that allows for aux. inputs... Otherwise, there's not really any way besides an FM transmitter(or one of those tape convertres if you have a tape player)

I agree. Your deck in your car should have an axulery port. You can try fm transmitters, but they don't sound as good.

yea that iTrip thing is an fm transmitter isnt it?

and there seems to be nowhere where i can plug anything into the car stereo

I know this is old school, but I just bought a tape adapter designed for a portable CD player (if your car has a tape deck), and it works great! Otherwise, the iTrip should work fine, too; a friend has one that seems to work really well for him...

No my car has no tape deck :| only cd player and and sat radio, plus the itrip thing that i have doesnt fit into the 60GB video i pod that i use. it only fits the mini's. so idk

I have one of these, monster FM transmitter. A little more expensive then like the itrip, but it recharges your ipod as well, and it charges it fast. Sound quality is great, especially for a FM transmitter, you just have to make sure you find a clear channel, its easy since you can set it to any station, unlike most.
