Ipod Is being Weird

Alright so i have a ipod video. When i plug it in it shows up under my computer and the ipod has the little "do not disconnect" logo on it. Itunes doesnt pop up. When i open Itunes my ipod doesnt show up, i cant move music onto it or anything.

Please help me out, i need to find a fix.

you installed the cd that came with the ipod and if the ipod dont show up in itunes or my computer try reconnecting it again it happens to mine

Ya either plug it back in..and make sure you installed it correctly...
if not sometimes when i wait a couple of minutes it shows up

Run the installation CD again.
