iPod music to PC

OK, so recently I uninstalled and reinstall my OS. Win XP Pro SP3. I thought I backed up my music, but didn't get all of it. So now, I have it on my iPod, but can't transfer it to iTunes or anything else. Any help on this please?

Use windows to browse you iPod like a flash drive. copy everything over to your HDD somewhere. open up itunes and add that stuff to it.

Thats how i did it, but there might be programs to do it.

FYI: when you copy the stuff from your ipod it won't list song names, just 4 random letters lik DFHJ or XGHN or something. so unless you want to open, listen and rename every one just add them to itunes :good:

Could you tell me how to do that? Browse it as a flash drive? I should mention it is an iPod touch, 1st gen, 8gb. I can't find out how to do it.

Thanks :)

Well, I found like all of the music on my old MP3 player, so all good :D

Thanks for the help anyway!

Just download Winamp. Theres an option to backup your ipod music to disk. Just right click and select 'copy to disc.'

There is loads of software that allows you to back up your iPod to your PC, Google is your friend :)

And as for linkin93's solution, you need plug your iPod into your PC, open iTunes and select "Enable disc use", then you should be able to access your iPod from My Computer.
