iPod question.

I have a Gen4 iPod. When I got it, i had formatted it on my dell so it is a windows formatted pod. However, I want to change the computer that I store my music on; to a mac. Do any of you know how completely reformat the ipod so that it is a mac-formatted iPod.
 
im sure you get the option to reformat when you install the ipod software from the disk, the installation process checks whether you need to or not

This is a great source of info for questions like yours. A hard reset should allow you to convert back to windows version, but you'll have to download the iPod software and tunes back to your pod.

Check the forum - they may have a less intrusive way...
