I have a 5th-generation 32GB iPod touch that I got for my birthday in 2013. I do remember that when I was given the iPod I was given the papers for a 2-year warranty. This expired a few months back.
The battery on my iPod is pretty much shot now. It's gotten so bad that I have to recharge it nearly 6 times a day. When I first got it on my birthday a charge would last nearly 3 days, but now, a charge MIGHT get me 2-3 hours. I really love my iPod, and I really can't afford a new one, but having to carry a power bank at all times is really getting annoying and problematic.
The device, as I stated before, IS out of warranty, but what would I have to do to get a new battery installed for a (decent) price?
