i bought an ipod touch about 3 months ago and yesterday my loving 2 year old daughter though it in the tolet:eek:, and now i have a $225 paper weight. I was just wondering if its repairable, and if so, can it be done for $125 or less?
 
Well the thing to do would be to let it sit in some dry rice for a day, but if it's been wet for a day or so it's probably too late.
 
ill say it was sitting in the tolet for about 5min. it was warm when i grabbed it.

edit:i did the bag and rice trick,still nothing.

If it was sitting in there for 5 minutes it's good and dead. That's plenty enough time to soak inside all the internals, and short out the battery along with any other bits that decide to as well.
