Ipod volume levels and headphone suggestions...

Is there anything I can do to increase the volume on my Ipod, like download some type of program that can get this thing sounding louder?

I also would like better headphones...any recommendations?

I am looking for the best quality for sound, I don't care if they go directly into the ear or wrap around your head.

There is no program. They best thing to do would to buy better headphones. If you really want good sound. Buy a pair of Bose or Shure headphones. But they are like $100. Or sennheiser are nice too.

sennheiser or sony in ear headphone are good around £40 the sony ones have more bass but less mid range.

Hmm, where do you live?

IDK about now but didnt they use to have a volume limit on UK ipods. There were programs that unlocked them. I dont know if they still do that or if it was just rumors.

u can increase the volume in the audio file and then transfer it to to ur ipod.

use atomix mp3 to make changes to the audio files.

Cant you jsut do it in itunes.

Get info and then on one of the tabes (i forget which one) it has volume.
That way you could do all your songs at once.

Look around in your ipod settings, on the ipod itself.

Look for volume control or something.

Well theres volume limit in settings but it doesnt come limited by default...

Yes, I will try better headphones, but like always there are some songs that have been recorded with lower volume.

I would like more volume so I won't have to turn the thing all the way up for some of these songs.

And when I burn them to Itunes I have the volume at maximum level.

I use thus Sony Fontopia headphones plenty of base the ones that come with ipods are a joke. each song in itunes can have its volume increased so that it plays louder in your iPOD select your songs in iTunes then click options or right click them. Put it up too high and it distorts but they go very loud before distortion so test it.
