Well I am going to finally conver to a TFT, and get rid of my fat 17" CRT.
I was told that unless the 19" tft has a higher resolution than 1280x1024 than it is pointless, as the size of the screen will cancel out the higher resolution, whereas the 17" will benefit from this resolution.
Any suggestions?
My two options:

The 19" is about £50 ($100USD) more.
