Is 620 Watts enough for GTX 560 Ti SLI?

Basically ive come into some money as im selling my xbox 360 and all its games etc, so i am buying an SSD, maybe a heatsink.

I would also like to buy an extra GTX 560 Ti for an SLI configuration!

I have an Antec HCG 620 Watt powersupply, i dought it would be but could it be enough for SLI?

This is my card that i already have and plan on buying...

If its not enough what would be a cheap, high quality power supply i could buy?

By the way my budget is £300, 180 or so for the card, the rest for a powersupply :)

Thanks!

IMHO, I would not use anything less than a good quality 700-750w PSU. Im not saying you couldn't use your 620w PSU, im simply saying that you will be stressing your PSU everyday @80-100% loads(thats not even counting any OC'ing you my do),and thats not good for your PSU.You will probably end up burning out your PSU, do to the stress you are putting on it.

Well no, it depends on the quality of the power supply, plus it says right on that page if you read it:

GeForce GTX 560 Ti in 2-way SLI
A second card requires you to add another ~175 Watts. You need a 700+ Watt power supply unit if you use it in a high-end system (800+ to a KiloWatt is recommended if you plan on any overclocking)

80% is not so bad, it is around 70-80 that you see peak efficiency, so that really is what you are aiming for. A high quality unit won't stutter from being there 24/7 at all, unlike the cheaper ones they are designed to work at the levels they are marketed at

Hmm okay looks like i will get a higher Watt PSU, probably a higher watt version of the PSU i already have, i think its quite a good but ill have a look around, thanks guys!

Or i may go with a Hale82 850 Watt or a Hale90 1000watt from NZXT as i plan on expanding lots!

Thankyou! :)
