Is a 4K TV good as a monitor

A 4K 32" monitor would cost me over $400. I can pick up a 4K 42" LCD LED TV for $300.
Any reason I should not use the TV as monitor for photoshop and premier pro video editing?
I am using a GeForce GTX 1060 6gb GPU.

Colour accuracy is going to be a pile of poo if you do photo and video editing on non calibrated monitors... let alone cheap tv's.

I use Spyder for calibration. Can I calibrate the TV?

Televisions in general are not good for use with a PC. With a cheap TV the input lag will probably be off the charts.

I don't think so. Most televisions have a lot of lag. Reactive games, like shooters or something like league of legends will look great. But they will definiteley be unplayable...
