Is A Macbook A Good Deal for 700?

I can buy a early 2009 Macbook (aluminum uni body). It is the one right before they redid the Macbook Pro line. It has a 2.4ghz Core 2 Duo, 2gb of ram, 250gb, and a nVidea 9400m. It also has a back lit keyboard and comes with a case and snow leopard. Is this a good deal? Thanks.

If you can get it for $700, its not a bad deal. I would try to haggle the price down as much as possible, offer $600 and work from there would be my advice. Of course, this all depends on cosmetic condition of the unit, if it is heavily scratched or such, i wouldn't pay $700 for it.

She wanted 900 i got her down to 700. I'm looking at it today so maybe i can work the price a little more.

its a good deal. there are people would pay more than that to just to get the aluminum model of the macbook since it has been discontinued.

over $300 off retail price and it is barely 1 year old, for $700 that is a great deal. Hell, I sell my old Mac desktops for higher resell ratio than that.

Yeah, that is definitely a good deal. I would try to work her down if you can, but if not, that's really not a bad deal, as long as everything works.
