OK, I'm one of the people who would sacrifice a few of there graphics level just for some strait lines. I love Anti-aliasing, and quite frankly can play without some. I have to have it at least have it on 2x. What about you?

Never had a computer that could run a game with it activated...so no it's not necessary for me. I usually disable AA & AF on every game.

Not fussed... As long as I get a reasonable amount of FPS (50 + is ok for me). But if I have to turn everything down low to get 50 FPS, it's time for a new graphics card :)

I used it for a while, but then i tried turning it off on my games and upping the resulation instead, and i will NEVER go back. If i can I run my games at at least 1600x1200 if I can.

[I relize that many of you proabally can't go up that high and above in the first place. One good reason for sticking with CRTS :P ]

On half life 2 I have it on 6x and on MAX graphics and full resolution...And i got a 2.3GHZ CPU with a 6200 AGP :D. plays fine. Very playable. HL2 is one of the most playable games on full. And racing games tend to need more computer demanding when you use texture filtering and FSAA. I think its because the pictures changes so much faster in a racing game than a FPS.

Just to further my original post, I need at least 2x AA. 4x and 6x are good, but my computer cant handle games that high, so 2x is usually fine for me.

I hate jaggies. But then, this 7300 cant play all my games with AA without losing FPS. HL2 it will play perfect with 4x AA at 1024x768 max graphics. Great game engine.

Is it just me or does some1 else with 7900 series doesn't have 6X AA option?

I have only 2X, 4X, and 8X.

Wow. I'm trying to start a line of posts that will get *popular* for at least 6 in a row :D so far I think i got 3. PM me if you got a good idea. remember there's no such thing as a bad question. Some are just not as good as others. And some may get you killed, but hay, I on a roll!

which raises a question on the last thread I did,
which is more important, FPS or FSAA?

Nope. I worry from FPS to everything else, including particles and other enhancing effects such as all shadows & HDR. If all of those run smoothly, I'll be AAing... which most of the time is a no-no.
