build a computer, i know someone that can build it if i get all the parts but i have no idea on which parts to get, i will need it to mainly play games, run applications such as dreamweaver, photoshop etc and to play films and music. and windows vista, i also want to run dual screen.

any help much apreciated and i would prefer it if all the parts are off www.aria.co.uk
 
Cool, what about Mouse, keyboard, monitor?

You will probably looking at a C2D or a C2Q Intel CPU (my recommendation)

With photoshop being a resourceful as it is I would look into getting at least 2GB of RAM.

Probably want to be using a x64 OS so Vista x64 will be the one.

Graphics will be a tough call knowing the ATi 2900 series being good cards and the nVidia 8800 series also great. Probably want a second opinion on them.

Whipped it up quickly, should be around 900 quid just for the PC not included the case... thats more down to taste if you ask me.

Got a nice amount of RAM for photoshop and a 8800 series GPU for gaming, also got 2x DVI`s for ur dual monitors.

Will be a good rig to upgrade in the future and overclock too.
