Is Dual Channel for every speed of RAM?

New builder here.. spec'ing out some RAM from Tigerdirect. Right now they have OCZ System Elite 2048MB Dual Channel PC5400 DDR2 667MHz Memory (2 x 1024MB) for $50.00 after rebate. I'm looking at getting the Asus P5N-5 SLI NVIDIA socket 775 atx mobo.

Is this ram compatible with this motherboard (mobo specs says it is dual channel ready, but I don't know if that is for every DDR2 speed or just the 533 mhz).

Any input would be greatly appreciated... also, what is your opinion of this mobo... goood/bad?
 
It is compatible. You want to look at the fact that it is DDR or DDR2, they have different amounts of pins. You can run almost any type of DDR2 on a DDR2-compatible motherboard, higher speeds than the motherboard will support will just downclock.
