I have 2GB of OCZ Elite DDR2 800, great I love waht they look like, and even saying "I have Gaming ram", seems good. But does it actually do anything differently, or improve anything?
The reason I ask: Over tis last weekend, my friends and I tried his 1GB of DDR2 667 Value Ram on 3DMark05, and then with my 2GB DDR2 800 Gaming Ram. So double the amount, faster speed and it's "Gaming Ram" with pretty heatsinks, and better whatever gaming ram has better, and it got a lower score... How much sense does this make?
Please someone explain what the advantage of Gaming Ram is.
