Is Intel Pentium Dual-Core E6300 compatible with my PC?

And... now i have Intel(R) Pentium(R) D CPU 2.80GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.8GHz

Its not dual core and the E6300 is better for it right?

Are you sure it will run?
It says it will run /Core 2 Duo E6x00/ Not Dual Core E6x00 :/

The E6300 Pentium will probably not work with that motherboard, as Ex00 Core 2 Duo's are the conroe architecture, while the pentium dual core E6300 is a wolfdale architecture. If you can find an Ex00 Conroe it will work, and even if it is 2Ghz it will be faster than your 2.8Ghz Pentium D, as the Core architecture is much faster than the netburst based pentium D, even though both are dual core.
 
I was thinking of getting Core 2 Duo Model, e4600 or e6600

is it a good idea? Thanks for your reply it's really proffesional :)
 
Either of those would outperform that current pentium D in your rig right now. The E6x00 is the higher end of those two with more cache.
