i am using windows vista ultimate (sp1). i have 3.00gb memory and a c2d 3.00ghz cpu. my computer often freezes. i thought that there was some hardware problem. my 3.00gb ram consists of 1.00gb and another 2.00gb ram.
i installed my vista again. after installing, i just removed my 1.00gb of ram and what i got after my vista booted was a BSOD(blue screen of death). but if i remove that 2.00gb ram and work with the 1.00gb one, everything works fine. but if i keep both my computer freezes, so is there any problem with my 2.00gb ram.. Please POST a reply....

Well, I would have to say Yes. lol

You can find out for sure by clicking the Start Menu, and in the search bar,
type Memory, and click on the Memory Diagnostics Tool.
