I have a nVidia Geforce FX5500 256MB.I run it on intel 845 GRG mobo in 4x AGP slot,512MB RAM and 2.00GHz intel processor.Does the performance or my video card boost up if i use it in a mobo with 8x AGP slot others remaining the same.
From the specs of the card it seems that the bandwidth would improve since 8x is faster then 4x and your card supports both. But I don't know how much of an improvement you would see or notice rather.
