I have a Dell Inspiron 530s which is a slim case and need to upgrade to a bigger hard drive. The hard drive I have currently is 3.5 inches so will any 3.5 inch hard drive like this http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Spinp...?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1292811846&sr=1-21 work?

Just make sure that your current hard drive and the hard drive your going to buy are the same type of controller. IE make sure your current computer uses SATA and the new hard drive uses a SATA connector, OR make sure your computer uses IDE and the hard drive you are going to buy uses IDE. SATA is a thin, usually red, cord. IDE is a thing, but very wide, usually grey, cord.
