Is it compatible?

Being an AMD fan as well as Asus you could look over the model newegg has at the moment for that will run upto 8gb of DDR 800 memory
What's the point of this? The board posted states it can use 8GB of memory too... This doesn't even pertain to the question...

It's a fine motherboard for running stock. Any reason you are taking a G965? This board is the same price and has better features.

As for video cards, the AGP cards will not work, it is a PCI Express board.

The Intel board will prove to be rock solid for you. The second card is compatible with it.

(Incidentally, MSI makes shit motherboards)

Well I think Ill take the Intel one. I kind of trust that brand more. lol. But is it really compatible with the graphic cards (atleast the second one).

Yeah, with the second one it is. Every Intel board I've either had personally or sold to clients has been rock solid, fast and extremely reliable. They just don't have many options for enthusiasts in the BIOS.

To give you an example....albeit rather dated now.

I bought a P3 500 the week they were released. I had an Intel 440BX board put in it. A barebones box cost me over $2500. No monitor or anything.

Within a couple of weeks my good friend decided he liked it so much he would buy one. He bought pretty much the exact same rig with a Gigabyte board in it.

My computer kicked his computer's ass. Like, totally. Mine loaded WAY faster and ran much smoother than his. His board was crap.

Anyways, just one example that came to mind.
