Hey all....
ok, another question for the brains here on cf. my mom and dad own their own business and my mom keeps all billing info, business info on her personal computer. Problem is when she isnt billing and working, she is surfing, etc. On more than one occasion I have had to save the business ny sitting for hours recovering the information from the hard drive and getting the computer to working order after severe crashes (damn microsoft
). Backup was through the quickbooks company but when we called them, they said it was not backed up, even though my parents paid for the backup (looong story)
ok, so my question is....
after this last crash, i have convinced them to get another comp to store only the business on with no internet connection to prevent infections. so the problem is my mom wants the comp to run on the same monitor. i know they sell the switch for the monitor, but the problem is the mouse and keyboard. is there a way to use the same mouse and keyboard to run the business computer without compromising the security of the computer thorugh the personal computer? sorry this is so long, but just wanted to be clear. thanks for any help in advance.
