If the seller is usually above 98% and has sold 100+ item, I would trust him/her.
 
i have bought loadsa stuff off ebay and never had any problems. just make sure that the seller has a good reputation and has sold a fair number of items and you should be fine. if you look around you can get some great bargains on computer hardware
 
The only things I have had problems with on ebay is revenge feedback and bad video card ram. But ussaly all turns out fine, only a couple bas acses in over 50 things i ordered. I say go for it. then buy me one too ;)
 
One thing I look at is to see if the person has a REAL picture of the item, not just some random one off the net. In this case, the guy doesn't. Regardless of his feedback, I'd personally not get it... However, I can be overly picky with these things...

Do you unferstand how ebay works? Its not buy it now, its bidding, trust me the bids will go up ALOT higher before it ends.
 
Ebay when it first started out was not a company to trust because anyone could post anything whether it worked or not. But now they have changed the rules and if it does not work or there is something wrong with it they will not let the person go with ouit saying that
 
I don't buy electronics unless it is brand new, unopened. Even then, you probably don't get the manufacturer's warranty. I won't buy a computer on ebay anymore because I got burned. I bought a pc. In about 3 months the power supply burned out. The manufacturer would not replace it so I bought a new one. In another 3 months the HD burned out. The manufactrurer did replace it, but that burned too (both Maxtors if you can believe it). I wanted to send it back to the guy because he offered a year warranty on his stuff. He was a powerseller with an acceptable number of bad feedbacks (<2%). Turns out he was in court being sued by previous customers (that's plural) for not honoring the warranty. I knew then if I sent it, I'd never see it again. So I got a Dell. My situation was probably rare but now I'm gun-shy about spending that much money and never knowing who I'm dealing with.
