Is it hard

Since I wasn't the one who built my pc, but have pretty medium knowledge on HARDWARE, I wanted to know if it was hard to install a new mobo. By the way, what's the difference between P4 and Xeon (apart from the price  )

I just installed a mobo. It wasn't hard but time consuming as I had to try to figure everything out. But it was definately worth it.

Use the manual. Ask questions and figure it out. You'll do fine and if you screw it all up, then order another one and try again. :)

installing the mobo is easier than installing other devices lol since there is a huge open space unlike a hardrive or a cddrive.

such as one fella who didnt use those riser things that stop contact between the case and mobo, ended up frying his mobo

Depends on the capacitors ... HDDs arent so bad because they are more "standard" ... Mobos are relatively "alien" to beginners and such :)
