Is it possible 2 upgrade old laptop?

Basically the only upgrade you can do with most laptops is to put more RAM into the thing. Otherwise, pretty much what you get, is what you keep for all eternity :)

oh that sucks so ok umm is ther like a maximum capacity for ram on a laptop?

Depends on the laptop. Most come with 1 stick of RAM, and then and then has a free slot for a second. Check what you have, and then I'd just get another one of those...

Alright thanks

Nope, you can't upgrade your video. As for RAM, you'll have to check if both slots are taken. Also, most newer laptops can max out at 2gb of RAM. You'll have to check what your max is and if whatever you've got is currently taking up both slots or if one is free to add.

How do u check the maximum memory it can hold? it has 2 slots with 2 sticks in them i took them out so now my laptop has a 16mb ram it had 96mb so say if i put like 512 Mb of ram in side the laptop would it be faster and be able 2 handle windows XP even if the processer speed is like 233mhz? thanks

You're computer would probably laugh at you and then blow itself up if you tried to put XP on it ;). The best operating system for that computer would probably be Windows 98 Second Edition. Pretty stable and a lot less demanding than XP. With that laptop you could probably put 2 64MB sticks in or maybe 2 128's, but I doubt it. The best this to do would probably just go buy a new laptop that's on a extreme deal. Although it's definitely not the best out there. It's also definitely a lot better than what you have...

That's hilarious! But yes, it's pretty old to continue to keep alive. With a max of 144mb, you can't really do anything with it. I think my cell phone has more memory than that thing. ;)

Not making fun, but it may be time to invest in a new one.
