Is it possible to have a dashboard-type setup like the mac os does?

I'm talking about all those little icons at the bottom of the screen that allow you to jump right to that program. Also is it possible to make a desktop icon that when clicked, will immediately take me to my yahoo mail inbox?

Now how can I make a link that goes straight to my email?

On the email, just open your email page in IE, and create a shortcut to the desktop with a Rt click.

If you use a different Browser the shortcut should still open in the Browser you use.
