is it possible to connect a computer and an xbox 360 to a router and then connect that to the internet though another router that conects the rest of the computers in my house?

Hmm, You mean 360 and a computer to a router....to another router?

Never tried it but sounds like you don't have long enough ethernet cords?

Lol I have cords running all around my place. Get em free from the college.
 
the router downstairs doesnt have enough ports to plug all the computers into, i have 2 spare routers kicking around some where, and i figure it should technichly be possible to have one router as a sub-router and feed that one into the main one.
 
Don't get another router, just get a switch, which is also cheaper and easier to setup since you won't have to configure it to disable DHCP, etc.
 
yea but if i get a switch wont i only be able to use internet on one or the other at one time?

which defeats the point of me wanting 2 seperate conections.
