I have overclock my graphic card about 70mhz for both memory and core and i see performance difference but the temps of the grapic card dont increase.At idle it is 40 and after the overclock also 40.Did i overclock?It says the new speeds and i overclocked with rivatuner.
 
yea, i found that with that program the same, i overclocked quite a lot, and the game performance got worse but temps were same etc. Then i used ATITOOL 0.25 and it works a dream, temps are a bit higher, but it runs much faster (i gained 10-15 FPS in COD2). I used my 7900GS (yea it works with nvidia cards) from 440/660 to 625/800 with temps at idle from non-oc=49 degrees, to oc'ed=53
 
Ok i did it but still temps are the same but i overclocked it.But once i restart everything goes back to stock how do you save it to apply at each startup.
 
i am not that stupid.I notice that too but still it applies them but i dont see any improvement.And temps stay the same.Does int matter if i overclock less or more.
 
I've pushed my x850pro to 625mhz core without seeing a significant raise in temp (about 1-2 degress). I've also lowered the core clock to 250mhz and the temperature only dropped bout 3 degrees. So i'm guessing that it's the same for you.
 
I oc'ed my x850xt to 600 core 620 memory and saw a performance gain of around 20 fps..temp only went up 1 or 2 degrees
