if i slowly over clock while checking temps and freezes, etc... do i really have to run prime95? or can i just see that everything is stable enough during what i am doing normally and leave it at that?
also, if i am oc'ing the cpu external frequency through aibooster is that also oc'ing the ram? if not, can i do so without going into the bios?

it is better to stress it because you never know what you're doing daily will or will not hang the machine. you dont want it to hang on you when you're doing homework and you didnt save your work when it happen.

well.. that wouldnt be good. lol. but, from what you said it seems as though as long as the temps are low and there are no artifacts that i technically can run the oc's without too much fear?

processors begin to make mistakes before they crash entirely

i'd def do a stress burn in test, and make sure it's completely stable before you start using it daily

ill go ahead and do prime95 then, but what about gpu stability? should i be running something in addition to 3dmark?

i think that's why people run superpi's to test their clocks

when the processors on the edge of seizing, it begins to make rounding errors
