Is it even worth $100?
 
Sure it is but thats about it though. Whether you upgrade or not depends on what you need the machine for

True, I was just thinking to giving it to one of my friends because her MB is fried. She'll use it mainly for light gaming... She also has a video card of which I'm guessing is PCI, other wise it wont work.
 
If you have the money to buy a new computer or build one then I would say yes. But if you don't and this one is working fine then I suggest you stick with this one.
 
Yeah, good call there ... not a whole lot of effort putting significant amounts of moeny into the box anyways.
 
Buy a new computer man.. your going to dump as much if not more to upgrade it to sufficeint. What do you use it for, basic computing? like surfing the web or home photos or what. Are you a power user... well obviously not with what your running now. My advice is, either build one or buy a new one! i wish you only the best man!

if your buying new or building... i'd start with an intel dual core. will be good enough for a long time!
