i currently own a xfx geforce 8800gtx 768mb and i have the option of buying the BFG 9800gtx 512mb for around the same price i can sell my 8800gtx, is the hassle of selling and buying etcetc worth it to have the 9800gtx over the 8800gtx???
 
Well performance wise, you won't get much much more out of the 9800GTS. Ofcourse it'll do newer stuff a bit better and you'll get a few more frames (not sure how much) in some games (not all) but I myself would stick with the 8800GTX (and Overclocking it is an option).

yes my overclocking is a strange one, i use ntune to overclock it then i bench it with 3dmark06 and i break the 17000 barrier mark, then i run the same bench again with the same overclocked clocks i used to beat the 17000 mark and then i get about 15000-16000 i overclock a bit more and still stays exactly the same i just cant win
