Is having a graphic card in your laptop worth the extra money?
Cause I am buying a laptop soon, and I already have a gaming pc, but when I am not at home, I might want to play CSS or something.

I was talking to a friend and he said if the laptop has the correct slot, I can add a graphic card... If thats possible, where would I get one.


But I was thinking of putting $800 to $1200 into a laptop.

I was getting results with 15.4'' to 17'' screens, 2gb ram, 120gb - 250gb hdd.

get the upper grade card- i promise you will not regret it. and i wouldnt bank on upgrading later...its just a bad idea.
 
Depends on the price, but IMO if you get a laptop with integrated video, theres not much difference between a $500 laptop and a $1000 laptop. But a dedicated video card makes it worth it.
 
Most laptop video cards now can play CSS. It isn't that high standard of a game anymore. I would look up the video cards online and see how big the difference really is and go from there.

The integrated ones wont, but if you mean the dedicated ones such as the x1400, 7600, etc, then yes they will.
