Is it worth replace the motherboard for HP laptop?

my HP pavilion dv6-7001tu laptop motherboard has failed few days ago. It used only about one and half year. It doesn't have warranty now. Replacing a new motherboard it will cost about $266.(I gave laptop to the HP service center. they stated that motherboard has a problem and it will cost $266 for new motherboard replacement):confused:

Is it worth replace a new motherboard with considering other parts(display, hard drive,processor etc...) of laptop?

I think that depends on what hardware your laptop has, could you give us a more detailed list of exact hardware that notebook uses? Thanks
